Alerts & Notifications Guide
📣 Channels
- Slack — One-click OAuth setup. Alerts post to a channel.
- Discord — One-click OAuth setup. Alerts post to a server channel.
- Email — Add any email address to receive alerts.
- Webhooks — POST to any URL (works with Zapier, Make, n8n, custom).
⚙️ Alert Rules
Toggle which events trigger notifications:
| Rule | What Triggers It |
|---|---|
| Hot Visitor | Visitor score exceeds your threshold |
| Returning Visitor | A previously identified visitor comes back |
| High-Value Page Visit | Visitor views a page in your Hot Pages list |
| Form Submission | A visitor submits a form |
| Visitor Identified | An anonymous visitor becomes identified |
| Revenue Event | A transaction is recorded |
💯 Score Threshold
- Set the minimum score to trigger "Hot Visitor" alerts
- Slider from 0-100
- Labels: Cold (0-39), Warm (40-59), Hot (60-79), On Fire (80+)
⏱️ Cooldown
- Minimum time between alerts for the same visitor
- Options: 1 min, 5 min, 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour
- Prevents alert fatigue
🔥 Hot Pages
Define high-intent pages that trigger alerts:
- Go to Alerts → Hot Pages tab
- Add a page URL (e.g., `/pricing`, `/checkout`, `/demo`)
- Give it a label (e.g., "Pricing Page")
- Set a score weight (1-100) — higher weight = more impact on visitor score
- Toggle enabled/disabled
